Here are some of the Twitter reactions following Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Napoli in the Europa League.
Arsenal invited Napoli for the first time to the Emirates in the Europa League on Thursday. The Gunners were thorough 2-0 victors over the Gli Azzurri in the Quarterfinals of the competition and take a healthy lead to San Paolo. Unai Emery will be happy with his side’s performance by claiming a clean sheet which might prove to be vital in this tie.
Both the sides started on a high note, but it was the hosts, who completed a brilliant pass and move combination to find Aaron Ramsey just outside the six-yard box. The Welsh International slotted the ball past Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret with his first touch to hand over the lead to Unai Emery in the 14th minute.
The hosts kept on banging on the door of Napoli’s defence and doubled it through the midfielder Lucas Torreira. The Uruguyuan International made a bursting run and shot the ball from outside the box. But, it took a full deflection of the ball to find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Neret was whole wrong-footed and watched the ball go inside the back of the net.
Napoli had an excellent chance in the second half, but the attacking midfielder Piotr Zielinski was not able to hit the target from close range to cut down the deficit and get the all-important away goal. The game ended 2-0, and Carlo Ancelotti will not be happy with his side’s performance, but the Italian would hope to bounce back in front of their home crowd.

Arsenal schooling the second best team in Italy. This performance will seem even more impressive when they lose at Watford on Monday.
