Arsene Wenger to AC Milan

Arsene Wenger to AC Milan: The Italian side is reportedly in talks to bring Wenger to a sensational return to football.

Arsene Wenger resigned as Arsenal boss last season after 22 years in-charge of the club. He left the Gunners as the most successful manager in their history, and led them to a stunning invincibles title in 2003/04 season.

After his resignation, Wenger has given many interviews which reflected on his time at Arsenal. The French manager has also been seen in various public events.

However, Wenger has maintained silence over his future in football. He admitted that he wants to return to football and has assured the fans on various occasions that he will make a comeback ‘next year’, but gave no substantial information on his future.

However, according to French Football, Wenger is now in talks with an Italian giant for the managerial role.

Arsene Wenger to AC Milan:

According to France Football, Milan are in talks with Arsene Wenger to replace manager Gennaro Gatusso.

It is reported that both the parties have been in talks over the last few weeks.

It is believed that the club owners, Paul and Gordon Singer, are big fans of Arsenal and Wenger and are keen to bring him to the club.

If Arsene Wenger signs for AC Milan, this would be his first job in Italy. He will also reunite with Ivan Gazidis, who was the CEO of Arsenal Football Club during Wenger’s time in North London.

AC Milan are enduring a tough time for many years in domestic and European football. The side won their last league title in 2011 and finished 6th last season in the Serie A.

Even when Milan are 4th in the league this season, the owners aren’t satisfied with the performance of the side, according to the report from France Football.

What next?

It remains to be seen whether there is any substance to this speculation. However, it could be a good opportunity for Arsene Wenger to restart his career at a historic club like Milan and bring them back to the stature, at which most of the football fans associate them with.
