Ashes 2019 schedule: When and where will the 71st Ashes series be telecast in India with the fierce rivalry to begin in August 2019

With the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 providing with an absolute gem of an unbelievable grand finale, the action will soon shift over to longest format of the game. And there can not be a better Test rivalry than The Ashes. England and Australia will yet again lock horns in the 71st series of the oldest rivalry our beautiful game has seen.

The two countries take it in turns to host a five-Test series, normally every couple of years, with the winner keeping hold of the Ashes urn. The first series took place in 1882-83, with the most recent in Australia in the winter of 2017-18.

The 2019 Ashes will take place at the World Cup venue in England and is all set to begin just in a couple of week’s time in the beginning of August.

The first Test will commence from August 1, 2019 at Edgaston in Birmingham with the fifth and final Test to take place from September 12, 2019 at the Kenningtom Oval in London.

Last time the two sides faced in the 2017-18 series in Australia, the recently crowned World Champions England, went down 0-4 against the Aussies in the latter’s home.

Where will Ashes 2019 be telecast in India?

With the Sony Pictures Sports network having  launched its campaign, #MoreCricket, for the upcoming high-octane Cricket series the 2019 Ashes will be broadcast live on the SONY SIX channel.

All the matches will commence from 3:30 pm IST.
