Aubameyang left pitch for toilet break while Arsenal were losing vs Brighton. The Gunners continued their winless streak with yet another loss.
Long considered the reason for Arsenal’s failures, Unai Emery’s sacking has proven that the North London side are just not good enough anymore. The Gunners have not won a Premier League match since October 6th since their 1-0 win over Bournemouth.

It has now been exactly two months since their fans last celebrated a victory in the Premier League. Emery’s interim successor Freddie Ljungberg has had no luck bringing a change in their fortunes and has now succumbed to yet another disappointing result.
His reign started with a 2-2 draw against newly promoted Norwich City. The canaries looked good to pick 3 points but Aubameyang’s brace helped them recover a point from the match. The Arsenal captain however, invited ridicule for his actions in the Arsenal vs Brighton match.

Adam Webster helped Brighton take the lead in the 36th minute of the match before Alexandre Lacazette equalised for Arsenal just minutes after half-time. Neal Maupay then titled the advantage back to Brighton with an 80th minute goal.
Arsenal were desperately chasing the equaliser. However, their captain Aubameyang was seen mysteriously leaving the pitch. He then returned a few minutes later to cheers from the stadiums. Ljunberg confirmed after the match that the Gabonese forward had left the field to answer natures call.
The Swede said:
“I actually didn’t even notice he went off; I just saw him come back on after he’d been off for a couple of minutes.
“When you need to go, you need to go.”

Goes to show the state of Arsenal when the manager acknowledges that he didn’t even realise that his captain was not on the pitch. Fans on Twitter were also not impressed by Aubameyang and voiced their displeasure with him leaving Arsenal down to 10 men while chasing an equaliser.
nothing will change the rot, those players don't care anymore, they don't care for the club or the fans… point in fact that aubameyang went for a toilet break in middle of match… all the games i've watched in my life that has never once happened #bbcfootball
