Ever since the Drop-in pitches were introduced at the Adelaide Oval in 2013, team batting first have won 4 out of the 6 Test matches. On 5 occasions, team winning the toss have elected to bat. The wicket is expected to have a natural flair, which would bring the spinners into play on the 4th and the 5th day of the match. At this very venue Aussies have a 100% win record in D/N Test matches.
After losing the 1st Test match, the Pakistani contingent is expected to make major changes to their starting line-up. Opening the innings have been a major concern for the touring side and they would be forced to bring in Imam-Ul-Haq, who is expected to open with Shan Masood. Change in the opening pair would allow the Pakistani skipper to bat at number 3 position, which ideally suits him. Mohammed Abbas who has an excellent record against the Aussies is expected to feature along with Mussa Khan who can enlish the conditions.
Australia on the other hand look balanced and settled. Steve Smith who had a below average test match performance wise, would be awaiting his opportunity. The Aussie fast bowling unit looks in supreme form as they picked up 18 wickets in the first Test at the Gabba; Contrarily the Pakistani unit picked up only 4 wickets. Marnus Labuschagne has been a revolution to the Australian batting line up. Australia would undoubtedly start as favourites and would look forward to consolidate their position in the Test Championship.
Pitch Conditions and Toss
With overcast conditions and rainy spells from the second day, fast bowlers are expected to get some assistance on a relatively flat deck. Naturally, a drop-in wicket would bring the spinners into play on the 4th and the 5th day. Regular disturbance from the heavens would ensure that the game lasts longer than other games. Considering the conditions, the team winning the toss would definitely opt to bat first.

AUS vs PAK Dream11 Wicket Keeper
Mohammed Rizwan who missed his maiden test century by 5 runs in the first match would fit in perfectly considering the composition of the of a Dream 11 team, which must feature a minimum of 4 players from a team. Rizwan who played a gutsy innings is gelling well for the visitors.
AUS vs PAK Dream11 Batsmen
Considering the rainy spells and the overcast conditions I would like to go with 5 frontline batsmen who can negotiate the conditions on the basis of their technical superiority. With an excellent opening partnership at the Gabba, Joe Burns and David Warner would be an automatic selection. With current form in the recent past, Steve Smith is an obvious choice for me.
Pakistan would heavily depend on Babar Azam and skipper Azhar Ali to score runs, it is mandatory for Pakistan to build partnerships in order to overcome their batting challenges.
AUS vs PAK Dream11 All-Rounders
Marnus Labuschagne played one of his best innings in the last Test match and his current form with bat demanded his selection in my Dream 11 squad. Labuschagne can be handy with the ball when it starts turning and bouncing.
AUS vs PAK Dream11 Bowlers
The weather conditions forced me to select an extra bowler, The Aussie trio of Josh Hazelwood, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins can prove lethal against any side in such conditions. The Aussie attack is capable of demolishing the Pakistani batting line up within a couple of sessions. Shahen Shah Afridi comes into my Dream 11 squad to maintain the credit balance of my team, given liberty I would have selected Yasir Shah.
AUS vs PAK Dream 11 Captain and VIce Captain
Since I am expecting a low scoring game and a dominant Aussie performance I would have Pat Cummins as my Captain and Mitchell Starc would be his deputy
