AUS vs SA Dream11 Team Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today’s World Cup match | Australia vs South Africa as TSR helps you with Dream 11.

The 45th match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played between Australia and South Africa at Old Trafford today. In what will be the second dead-rubber of the day, it will also be mostly watched to see whether Australia finish the points table at the top position or not.

With seven wins in eight matches, Australia are currently at No. 1 on the points table. On the other hand, with two wins in eight matches, South Africa are at No. 8 on the points table.

AUS vs SA Dream11 Team Prediction

Wicket-keepers for AUS vs SA Dream 11

In Australia’s Alex Carey, I have picked only one wicket-keeper batsman for this match. In eight ODIs, Carey has scored 244 precious runs at an average of 61 and a strike rate of 110.40 including a couple of half-centuries. Quinton de Kock’s dismal form at the top of the order has also made me pick Carey ahead of him.

Batsmen for AUS vs SA Dream 11

Citing how well Australia’s opening batsmen have done, I have not only picked David Warner (516 runs at an average of 73.71 and a strike rate of 86.57) and Aaron Finch (504 runs at an average of 63 and a strike rate of 102.43) but their No. 3 in Usman Khawaja (298 runs at an average of 37.25 and a strike rate of 86.62) as well. It is worth mentioning that the three batsmen have been Australia’s Top Three in the tournament so far.

The only South African batsman in my team for this match is Rassie van der Dussen. In eight ODIs in this tourney, the 30-year old cricketer has scored 216 runs at an average of 54 and a strike rate of 87.44 including a couple of half-centuries.

All-rounders for AUS vs SA Dream 11

As has been my trend throughout this World Cup, I have picked the South African duo of Chris Morris and Andile Phehlukwayo. Through their dual abilities, the pair has been winnings points for me and I expect them to replicate the same for the last time in the tournament.

Bowlers for AUS vs SA Dream 11

Much like the Australian batsmen, I have also selected the top-three Australian wicket-takers in the tournament. Given the form Mitchell Starc (24 wickets at an average of 15.54, an economy rate of 5.01 and a strike rate of 18.5), Pat Cummins (12 wickets at an average of 27.25, an economy rate of 4.66 and a strike rate of 35) and Jason Behrendorff (eight wickets at an average of 16.75, an economy rate of 4.78 and a strike rate of 21) have been in, they will put a daunting task in front of the South African batsmen.

My last bowler for his match is veteran South Africa leg-spinner Imran Tahir (10 wickets at an average of 31.50, an economy rate of 4.70 and a strike rate of 40.2). The 40-year old cricketer has been South Africa second-best bowler after Morris.

NOTE: Since it is a dead-rubber, both the teams might make a surprising change here or there. Therefore, be careful during the toss and make the changes (if any) accordingly.

ENG vs NZ Fantain Prediction

If you select the same set of players in Dream11, you will be saved with as many as seven credits. While I am going ahead with the same squad, I leave it on you regarding making any change on this platform.

If you still want to experiment a bit, you can bring in South Africa opening batsman Hashim Amla in place of Australia’s Usman Khawaja and bring in Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis in place of South Africa’s Andile Phehlukwayo.
