Barcelona Transfer News: Transfer activity begins at the club again after the Japan tour as Barca look to sign Neymar and Junior Firpo. They will also work at a few exits to finance the move.

Barcelona had earlier embarked on their pre-season tour of Japan and are now back in Spain again. The club had mixed results losing 2-1 to Chelsea and winning 2-0 against Vissel Kobe. The team was missing a few big names post the Copa America with Lionel Messi being the most notable absentee.

They will now focus on transfers. The objective is to buy Junior Firpo and Neymar. They are also looking to sell Philippe Coutinho and Malcom.

Neymar has been linked with Barcelona all summer. Espescially after his admission that Barcelona was his home and he regrets leaving it. Barcelona have already added Griezmann to the squad but Messi and Luis Suarez are said to be backing the return of Neymar. Messi identifies Neymar as an integral component to Barcelona winning the Champion’s League.

All through last season, Barcelona lacked a cover for Jordi Alba at Left back. Junior Firpo could be bought in as Alba’s back up while also being groomed as his heir and take over when Alba finally calls it a day.
