TheSportsRush brings Barcelona’s expected lineup vs Huesca after they registered a narrow win against Real Valladolid last Sunday.

Barcelona got their second successive victory in La Liga on Saturday night with an unconvincing, yet functional performance. The Catalans won by 1-0, thanks of Ousmane Dembele’s goal. Some players put in horrible performances but still managed to claim all three points up for grab. Barcelona now take on SD Huesca at the Camp Nou next weekend. Here’s a look at their predicted lineup for the clash.

DEFENCE

Barcelona’s defence was completely lackluster in the match versus Real Valladolid. The Catalans were not impressive in any defence, with defensive displays being the most pathetic. Yet, Ter Stegen is expected to start the next match after making a few good saves in the previous game. Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti could form the pairing of central defenders with Sergi Roberto and Jordi Alba playing as the right and left backs respectively.

MIDFIELD

There has been a huge void still left to be filled since Andres Iniesta’s departure, but no worthy candidate has been found. Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic are expected to lineup in two of the midfield roles up for grabs. Phillippe Coutinho seems to be more preferred on the left wing and hence, Arthur might get a start against the La Liga Santander freshers during next Saturday’s clash.

ATTACK

Leo Messi delivered one of his worst performances in recent memory but is still likely to start by wearing the captain’s armband. Luis Suarez was nothing great compared to his Argentinian teammate either and missed several chances to score with numerous misplaced passes. The former Liverpool man is still expected to start against SD Huesca and will hope to get off the mark. Ousmane Dembele’s place has competition from Phillippe Coutinho, yet, the Frenchman is expected to start following a goal apiece in each of his last three matches in the Barcelona shirt.

BARCELONA’S EXPECTED LINEUP: Ter Stegen; Sergi Roberto, Pique, Umtiti, Jordi Alba; Busquets, Rakitic, Arthur; Messi, Suarez, Dembele
