Bombay High Court asks MCA for their water arrangements

Chennai’s brilliant start to IPL 2018 took an bad turn off the pitch, as political issues have forced the franchise to shift their home matches to Pune.

Politics has once again played spoil sport, as the Cauvery Water dispute has agitated the protesters, who have threatened to release snakes in the stadium. The IPL could not risk something like this from ever happening, which is why all the matches will not be held in Pune.

This came a terrible blow to the passionate Chennai fans who have been waiting for the yellow army to return to their city. After a two year ban, CSK made their highly anticipated return, as the whistles returned to welcome Dhoni and his army back to Chennai.

The IPL have seen some amazing matches already this season, as

CSK have been involved in two themselves, as they won both their matches in the last over. Unfortunately for CSK fans, their side’s win over KKR will be the only match that they will get to witness in Chennai this year, as all of CSK’s matches have been shifted to Pune.

CSK are also facing a few injuries, as both Kedar Jadhav and Suresh Raina will miss the next few matches. While Jadhav is out for the tournament, Raina is expected to come back after a couple of weeks.

In spite of a wonderful opening match at the Chepauk, the great Chennai fans will not be able to watch their heroes in action. Now we hear that there may be issues in Pune as well, as the Bombay High Court has asked the Maharashtra Cricket Association what the arrangements are for watering the ground.
