Brandon Williams open goal miss: Man Utd starlet produces miss of the season vs Norwich during their Premier League encounter.

Manchester United have played a near perfect game against Norwich City at Old Trafford this evening. A brace from Marcus Rashford on both sides of half-time and a header from Anthony Martial has given them a comfortable 3-0 lead.

The entire side has pulled their socks up after the 3-1 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City in the first semi-final of the Carabao Cup. Young left-back Brandon Williams has also impressed tonight. However, he squashed an absolute sitter that could have put them 4-0 up.

In the 60th minute of the match, Andreas Pereira produced a show on the right to set up an easy goal on the other side. The ball was delivered in the box for Brandon Williams in front of an empty net. However, the youngster inexplicably skied the ball a couple of yards from the goal.

It’s only January and we already have a contender for miss of the year!

The miss will probably not have any impact on the game though as Manchester United look good for a win at the Old Trafford. This will be a huge boost for a side that will travel to the Anfield next week against arch rivals Liverpool.

Manchester United, at the moment of writing, are the only team in the Premier League to not have lost to Liverpool this season and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hope that the narrative remains the same when they come back.
