Brooklyn Nets vs Philadelphia 76ers Dream11 Prediction : Dream 11 Fantasy Tips for BKN vs PHI as The SportsRush helps you form the best possible Dream11 Team.

Philadelphia went into game 1 with the higher seed and home advantage but were absolutely dominated for the entire contest except for the time when Embiid bullied Jarett Allen in the paint and got a lot of opportunity at the free throw line. Apart from that Jimmy Butler absolutely balled out for the Sixers but pretty much everyone else stalled. Ben Simmons had 9 points and just 3 rebounds as the Nets completely sagged off him and clogged the paint and limiting everyone else.

JJ Redick had himself a horror show as well with 5 points and 1 rebound and fouled out early in the 4th quarter, with the Nets covering him and everyone else effectively leaving both Embiid and Simmons open from distance. Butler had 36 points and 9 rebounds while Embiid limited in his minutes scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds but was the problem for the other teammates as he clanged everything from distance which lead the Nets to double everyone else who held the ball. The Nets still gave up a fair few open opportunities but they played the odds and Philly now need a turnaround to win the next game.

Nets & 76ers Forms :

For Philly Butler and Embiid still managed decent statistical performances but Redick, Simmons and Tobias Harris all had horrible nights that did not seem incidental. The Nets played stifling defense and none of them were good enough to get their own shots despite it. Butler and Embiid are both capable of getting their own shots so they managed to push through and get their numbers. If the pattern holds it will be difficult for all three players to do much this series. Embiid was a last minute call to play in the previous game and he looked unsure, which is unlike him. He has only played 9 games since the all-star game and as always his injuries seem like his only undoing.

Brooklyn Nets had themselves an all round good game and most of their big names performed well. All-Star guard D’Angelo Russell who had a poor shooting first half redeemed himself with a good second half and it was all cheers for the Nets. D’Lo had 26 points with 4 assists and 3 rebounds, Spencer Dinwiddie was on fire from the deep scoring 18 points with 1 assist and 3 rebounds, Caris LeVert scored 23 off the bench and Ed Davis was as active as ever on the offensive end pulling in 16 rebounds in total to go with 12 points and 2 assists.

Dream 11 Tips: Brooklyn Nets vs Philadelphia 76ers

Point Guards: D’Angelo Russell (18 Cr) Ben Simmons (17.5 Cr)

Russell proved his worth through the season and in game 1 despite shooting poorly in the first half, showed maturity and went on a tear in the 3rd quarter with 13 points and ended up with a game high for the Nets with 26 points. He remains central to everything the Nets do and capable of finding his own shots. It helps that the Nets can get a favourable match-up against Redick as and when they please which often means an automatic bucket.

Ben Simmons had a terrible game 1 and all the flaws in his game were exposed. This is not the first time. The Celtics did the same again him in the playoffs last season and he suffered. But his numbers improved once he adjusted and in his young career Simmons has proven that he is too big and too crafty to be bogged down for too long. If Philly have to get themselves going, it’ll have to come at the hands of Simmons and for that reason alone Simmons becomes a default pick. If you see the Sixers being dominated every game in this series, then leave him off of your team, but I wouldn’t make that bet.

Shooting Guards: Joe Harris (11 Cr) JJ Redick (10.5 Cr)

Joe Harris heated up in the first quarter and made 3 threes but cooled down a bit as the game progressed with Nets finding better opportunities right at the rim. But with Philly expected to shore up their defense for the second game, Harris’ shooting will be a bigger factor and you bet he will bury his shots (regular season leader in 3pt shooting percentage)

JJ Redick. I know I just saw he was the worst player on court the last game, before you crucify me, hear me out. Redick if he heats up is the best shooter Philly have. I am expecting Philly to get better. Simmons is someone that can find Redick for his shots and I am expecting a rebound performance from Simmons. This is just me doubling down on that prediction and going all in on it. Plus I expect Philly to sit Embiid to allow him to recover, so theres only so many Sixers I can pick to make a difference.

Small Forwards: DeMarre Carroll (10 Cr) Jimmy Butler (16.5 Cr)

DeMarre Carroll is a less fancy option compared to Caris LeVert but LeVert has a habit of blowing hot and cold. He was on fire last game, and I have not seen enough consistency from him to bet heavily on him. So for this game, my pick is the cheaper and more steady, albeit less flashy DeMarre Carroll.

Playoff Jimmy Butler is back. Jimmy is made for the playoffs because its tight defense and Jimmy is the best 1on1 guy Philly has apart from Joel Embiid (when he is in the paint, he remains a work in progress outside of it). Butler top scored with 36 points and pulled 9 rebounds, many of which were offensive rebounds. I expect Jimmy to stay hot as his game suits a playoff game and especially the Nets defense that is best when it plays double coverage but can’t do that on Jimmy with Simmons and Embiid on the floor.

PF: Jared Dudley (5.5 Cr)

Jared Dudley proved his value playing solid pestering defense against Simmons and Embiid who are much bigger than him. While he isn’t a fancy option for the game, he is cheap and is guaranteed to get minutes for his defense. That one will get him precious few points through the incidental rebounds and points. At PF neither team is very strong and Tobias Harris I don’t believe is good enough to get his own shots and the switch heavy defense of Nets isn’t a good match for Harris who prefers his shots open.

Center: Ed Davis (10.5 Cr)

I have a feeling Embiid will be given a rest today. He did not look ready last game and still played over 22 minutes. That will not have helped his cause. Philly suffered due to having a half fit Embiid and if he isn’t fully fit the Sixers will feel they are just better off executing a plan without him than alter everything around his limited minutes and limited play. Ed Davis gets his 10+ rebounds and 12 odd points at the basket every game as long as he plays 20+ minutes. And after that previous game I would expect him to continue getting minutes. Se he becomes another value pick although at 10.5 Credits its not as cheap as a Dudley, but he is less than half the price of Embiid who even if he plays will be on heavy minutes restriction.
