Bruno Fernandes weighs the prospect of partnering with Pauk Pogba, while the Frenchman is speculated to make a move away from Manchester United.
Bruno Fernandes instantly made Manchester United fans love him, as his aesthetic performances made Manchester United a dominant force in attack.
Even in the absence of Paul Pogba, Fernandes managed to change the fortunes of the midfield and has been a brilliant performer so far. With Pogba missing the most of the season, he is yet to pair up with the Portuguese midfielder.
And with Pogba’s transfer speculations rising since a while, it seems unlikely that both will ever share the same field in the coming days unless Pogba extends his stay with the club as he enters the final year of his contract with the club.
Thus, Manchester United would probably transfer him at a decent price to milk some revenue from his departure. Though Fernandes while talking to MUTV feels optimistic about his partnership with Pogba and hopeful that he would get to play with him.
When asked how excited he is to play with Paul, Bruno replies A lot. A lot. I think we have a lot of good players in the midfield.
Obviously Paul is injured from a long time [ago], and all we know is he has a lot of qualities.
“We can say in football that people normally forget what you do good when you have a mistake. You can do good for 34 games, and one game you do bad and everyone will remember that.
“Paul is coming from a bad moment, because of the situation. When he played also, the club and the team was not good, because the expectations are high for Paul, because Paul is a top player and Manchester United pay a lot for him, and expectations are a lot for him.
“It’s normal when you are in that situation you don’t play like a superstar, because everyone expects from Paul like they expect from [Cristiano] Ronaldo at Juventus or [Lionel] Messi at Barcelona.
Everyone expects this from Paul in Manchester, because they know he has the qualities for this. Also, this is confidence in Paul. The team, we have a lot of confidence in Paul.”

Probably in this season both could have played together as Pogba was on the path of recovery and Ole Solskjaer assured that he would join the squad soon but the spread of the COVID-19 halted all the football activities.
