Champions Trophy Fantasy Tips: Fantasy Guide for England vs New Zealand
Fandromeda Fantasy League
Transfer out: Steve Smith, David Warner, Travis Head, Shakib Al Hasan
Transfer in: Joe Root, Kane Williamson, Ben Stokes/Moeen Ali, Martin Guptil

Now, I already have Mitchell Santner in my side for this game.
Joe Root and Kane Williamson would walk into my side, one because they are class number 3 batsmen, and two because they were in top form when their sides took the field in their respective opening games. Both these batsmen got a hundred and while Root was able to win int for his side, Williamson’ ton went in vain, as the rain gods made an unhealthy intervention.
Now, for the all rounder spot in my team, I would go for one from Stokes and Ali. The fact that Stokes bowled 7 in the last game and Moeen 8, gives me confidence that Stokes would feature more in the bowling unit than he has in the past. But you need to remember that Stokes was actually filling in for the void that Woakes had created, after getting injured in the initial part of the innings. So, might not bowl much today
Again, to resolve this problem, I would suggest you to go in with Moeen, if England bat first and Stokes if England bat second.
There is a 50% chance for rain today and thus it looks highly unlikely that a 50 over game would be possible, something forces me to tilt towards batsmen, rather than bowlers. In a rain curtailed game, always go in with batsmen from the top 3. As the England bowling attack seems to be a little hostile than the New Zealand bowling attack, I’ll go in with Martin Guptill for this game, who has been in great touch all year, and should be able to take full toll of the short boundaries on offer in Cardiff.
Batting Star: Joe Root/Kane Williamson(whoever bats first)
Bowling Star: Santner/Stokes(whoever bowls first)
