Chelsea aim to raid PSG in January in a bid to bolster their midfield
According to Le10 Sport, Chelsea plan to bring in PSG midfield duo Julian Draxler and Idrissa Gueye. Draxler will be the easier of the two to convince to part ways with his club as he has only started 5 games in the French League this season.
Draxler has less than 2 years left in his contract and could prove to be a valued and versatile addition to Frank Lampard’s Chelsea. Gueye however, would be much harder to prise out of the French Champions. The 30-year old signed with the club from Everton this summer. He has already made 15 appearances and is an important player for the club.
His impressive start to life in Paris will certainly make it hard for Chelsea to bring him back to the Premier League. Frank Lampard has reportedly been given a budget of £150 million transfer budget. It will be interesting to see how much of it will he be willing to spend on these two players.
