Christian Pulisic Replacement : The USA player could end up departing the club come this summer
As the days are passing, its increasingly looking like Christian Pulisic is headed out of Chelsea. With the player left on the periphery of Chelsea’s playing 11 ever since Thomas Tuchel’s arrival, the USA international is set to be left distraught at the manner in which things are shaping up for him.
While Pulisic has yet to voice his displeasure to Chelsea, reports have flown in about him eyeing the possibility of leaving the London club if his role doesn’t increase in the time to come. And with there set to be no shortage of potential suitors for his expansive skill set, the player’s departure could end up materialising come the end of the ongoing season.
Coman Emerges On Chelsea’s Radar
If reports emanating from England today are to be believed, Chelsea themselves are looking to relieve Pulisic of his duties with the club. The Premier League side is set to have already identified a replacement for Pulisic with Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman piquing the club’s interest.
Chelsea who have been long term admirers of Coman are set to be once again monitoring the player’s situation. While Bayern Munich and the player have both not hinted at an exit, Chelsea are ready to pounce at the slightest bit of inkling from the player’s end.
Chelsea had previously been in the market for Coman when Callum Hudson-Odoi was on the cusp of joining Bayern Munich. However, a deal fell through, leaving Coman with the Bundesliga outfit with him going onto become a mainstay of the club’s attack since.
24 year old Coman has a sparkling record with him having gone onto lift 23 trophies in his short lived career. The swashbuckling starlet has endured largely successful outings with PSG, Juventus and his current employers Bayern Munich.
Coman’s current deal at the club runs till 2023 with Bayern Munich said to be in mood to sell their imperious starlet. The club had rebuffed Manchester United’s advances earlier in December despite the club willing to splurge 260,000 pounds per week on the player’s services.
Manchester United, Liverpool and Juventus are meanwhile all said to be monitoring Pulisic’s situation at Chelsea with all three said to hold an avid interest in the USA player.
