Chelsea News: Mason Mont set to make his first start for England against Czech Republic

Chelsea News: Mason Mount set to make his first start for the English national team, as the Three lions vie to qualify for Euro Cup 2020.

Mason Mount has risen to prominence after being given his Chelsea debut by the new manager Frank Lampard. Since then, the Engish midfielder has been phenomenal and has amassed 4 goals in 8 Premier League games.

Hence, no way Gareth Southgate was going to miss the young superstar and gave him his debut as a 67th-minute substitute in England’s 4–0 home win over Bulgaria in UEFA Euro 2020 qualification. Later, he even came as a substitute against Kosovo.

Now, with the International break back in this season, England is set to face the Czech Republic and Bulgaria in this while. First, the Three Lions will travel to Prague to play the Czech Republic tonight.

Amidst all of this, according to the Skysports Mount has been speculated to start for England for the first time in his career. With his performances for Chelsea, Mount has convinced Southgate that he is ready for the International duty.

Meanwhile, if England wins the match against the Czech Republic, then they will receive direct qualification to the Euro 2020 since England has been undefeated in the last 4 games played in the group.

After this, England will further travel to Bulgaria and Southgate is expected to start the other youngsters who are also in contention to play for England with their promising potential.

On the other hand, James Maddison is not in the English squad for the upcoming International matches. Maddison has been an unused substitute four times in two different England squads but is yet to receive his first senior cap.

If England wins the match tonight then the Three Lions can have a sigh of relief as they can prepare for the tournament in advanced as the time goes by.
