Chile Vs Peru: Here are some twitter reactions on Peru defeating might South American side Chile in the 2nd semi-final of the Copa America.

Peru made an upset tonight as they scored past three goals against the mighty Chile to see themselves to get into the final of the Copa America 2019 against Brazil.

The Peruvian contingent dominated the game throughout the 90 minutes, as two goals by Peru in the first half brought them at a significant advantage, which Chile failed to climb.

Thus, it created a buzz on the internet, as the football fans did not expect Chile to go down so easily against Peru. Now, the social media is full of all kinds of reaction possible.

Later, La Roja succumbed to the pressure made by Peru in the dying minutes of the game, as Jose Paolo Guerrero netted the third goal in the final moments of the game.

Things got further worse for Chile, when it even failed to gain a consolation goal in the injury time, after Eduardo Vargas missed a penalty to make it 3-1.

On the other hand, credits also goes to Pedro Gallese for saving the penalty, as he used his presence of mind, and did not anticipate Vargas’ run.

Peru are on a dream run, as they defeated Uruguay, who were among the favourites to win the competition, in the quarter-final round, and now defeated two times Copa America champions.

Now, the Peruvian contingent marches towards the finale, where they will face the most successful national team in the world and powerhouse of South America, Brazil.

The Brazilian side is in a red hot form, as they have are undefeated in this campaign, and outclassed their fiercest rivals Argentina by 2-0 in the other semi-final match of the tournament.

Peru earlier met Brazil in the group stages round of this tournament, where they got a massive beating of 5-0 by the Selecaos. Thus, Peru would be looking forward towards a revenge, and after defeating the other giants they are high on confidence too.
