La Liga giants, FC Barcelona will only be able to purchase Liverpool superstar, Philippe Coutinho, if they are able to meet Liverpool’s asking price for the Brazilian. It is also suggested, that Jurgen Klopp is not willing to compromise on any swap deal.
The Catalan giants will attempt to sign Coutinho once again after the January transfer window reopens next month, after Liverpool rejected three huge bids for the Brazilian in the past window.
The 25-year-old has been in sensational form, helping the Reds to 4th position in the Premier League table.

Initial reports claimed that Barcelona would like to include Sergi Roberto, Arda Turan, Ivan Rakitic or Andre Gomes in a deal for Coutinho. However, Klopp is adamant not to agree to any swap offer for Coutinho.
As a result, Liverpool will only sell Coutinho to the Camp Nou outfit if they meet their asking price.
Liverpool demanded a massive £166 million for Coutinho. And with the high price, Barcelona shifted their attention to PSG superstar, Angel Di Maria.
However, the move for Di Maria failed to materialize for Barca, and they have turned their attention to Philippe Coutinho yet again.
Coutinho will only be sold to Barcelona, if Liverpool’s high price is met by Barca. Catalan publisher, Sport, also added that Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos could be a replacement of Coutinho to Liverpool.
It is reported that the Reds wanted to sign Ceballos when he was at Real Betis. Ceballos signed for Real Madrid in the past summer, and has found minimal playing time this season. Thus, the 21-year-old can make an exit from the Spanish capital.
Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert, Guillem Balague, resists that Barcelona are not too optimistic that they will complete the signing of the Brazilian next month.
“Liverpool don’t want to sell Coutinho,” Ballague regarded.
“That’s where they are right now, so Barcelona are not optimistic about the possibility of Coutinho going there.”
