"Flying Sanju": Sanju Samson grabs remarkable catch to dismiss Shikhar Dhawan in RR vs DC IPL 2021 match

Sanju Samson grabs remarkable catch: The captain of Rajasthan Royals contributed behind the wickets at the Wankhede Stadium.

During the seventh match of the ongoing 14th season of the Indian Premier League between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals in Mumbai, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson put on display a first-rate fielding effort to dismiss Delhi Capitals opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan.

It all happened on the first delivery of the fourth over when Dhawan tried to take the innovating route to ramp Rajasthan pacer Jaydev Unadkat. Failing to time the properly, Dhawan ended up guiding it towards the right of the wicket-keeper.

Having witnessed the batsman taking position to play such a shot, Samson grabbed a remarkable one-handed catch to send back Dhawan for 9 (11).

Included in the Playing XI for spinner Shreyas Gopal in this match, Unadkat made early inroads into Delhi’s batting unit. Before picking Dhawan’s wicket, Unadkat had dismissed Prithvi Shaw (2) in his first over.

Earlier, it was Samson who had won the toss and invited Capitals in to bat. Other than Unadkat, RR have also included batsman David Miller for injured all-rounder Ben Stokes.

Much like Rajasthan, Delhi have also made a couple of changes as debutant all-rounder Lalit Yadav and fast bowler Kagiso Rabada have been included for batsman Shimron Hetmyer and spinner Amit Mishra.
