Continuing with his brilliant run-of-form in the ongoing sixth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2022, defending champions Deccan Gladiators skipper Nicholas Pooran yet again came down hard at the opposition bowling line-up, to help his side register their fourth win in the season and remain firm at the top in the points table.

During the 21st match of the ongoing season between Deccan Glaidators and Bangla Tigers, Pooran (50* off 16) and Tom Kohler-Cadmore (50* off 21) led the former to a 10-wicket victory while chasing the target of 109 runs.
The duo accomplished the run-chase in mere 6.1 Overs, by collectively smashing 6 Fours and 11 Sixes, which included five of them in a single Over by Pooran off Tigers’ skipper Shakib Al Hasan.

Earlier, on the back of second consecutive half-century off the bat of Iftikhar Ahmed (54* off 21), the Bangla Tigers posted 109/6 in their 10 Overs.
Facing their fourth loss of the season today off six matches, the Tigers have slipped down to the seventh spot in the points table.
In the ongoing 22nd match, it is the Northern Warriors who have opted to bat first against the debutant franchise New York Strikers.

The highest successful run chase in the Abu Dhabi T10 league was accomplished during the previous edition of the league by the Northern Warriors.
The Rovman Powell-led side had chased down the target of 146 runs handed by Team Abu Dhabi by 10 wickets, and 5 balls to spare.
