Adidas India, the Indian leg of athletic apparel and footwear brand Adidas, has finally launched the new jersey of Indian cricket team. It was about a couple of hours ago when Adidas India shared the jerseys across its social media handles.

Although the Indian men’s team will be first wearing the Test jersey during ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 final against Australia at The Oval next week, separate jerseys for both the white-ball formats have also been launched at the same time.
Due to sign a new deal to replace the existing official jersey sponsor named Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited, BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) registered a coup in the form of bringing onboard a brand of Adidas’ reach and quality. For the unversed, KKCL, who promoted one of their brands in Killer throughout a short three-month tenure, had replaced MPL Sports on a temporary basis.
Indian cricketers, whose teams hadn’t qualified for Indian Premier League 2023 playoffs, were sent to England to acclimatize to the conditions before the final match. Photos of them donning the latest training gear had not only gone viral across social media platforms but had also received a warm acknowledgement from fans primarily due to the aesthetic value of hoodies and jackets.
