Shikhar Dhawan Once Hilariously Reacted to A Picture of Rishabh Pant Sitting On His Lap
Dhawan said that Pant was adamant about sitting on his lap and he couldn’t say not to him. The photograph was taken after the T20I series between India and South Africa. Pant was just 22 years of age at the time and he had a fun photo with his senior.
“He just came and sat on my lap. I told him ‘Rishabh, get up, someone will click a photo. I do not love guys that much that I’ll make them sit on my lap,” Dhawan had said on Aap Ki Adalat.
“But he is 21-22 years, and he doesn’t listen. So he sat on my lap and said ‘I will sit here only’. So I said ‘Sit, what can I do?’ He is young and cheerful like most guys his age.”
Dhawan also supported Pant in the show. The keeper was getting a lot of criticism after the T20I series and Dhawan had assured everyone that Pant will come out good. Pant is currently on the sidelines after his car accident but has certainly sealed his place in the Indian team on merit.
