Just a week post the end of yet another enthralling Indian Premier League season, cricket fans are all set to witness two top international teams in India and Australia square-off against each other in the grand finale of ICC World Test Championship 2021-23.

Having lost the previous edition of the WTC Final to New Zealand by 8 wickets, the Indian team will certainly not like to afford a slip-up in a knock-out match of yet another ICC event. To brush it up, the side is yet to win an ICC tournament since the ICC Champions Trophy triumph in 2013 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.
Kennington Oval, the venue of the final which is set to commence tomorrow, is not a happy hunting ground either for India as far as the Test format is concerned. While all-rounder Michael Neser has been added to the 15-member squad as his replacement, it remains to be seen if he is indeed considered ahead of fast bowler Scott Boland in the Playing XI tomorrow.
