In the form of a two-match series, the development will also bring back Windsor Park in recognition as a Test venue as it will be hosting one after more than six years.

Been facing one another in the ancestral format since 1948, this is going to be the 25th bilateral Test series between West Indies and India. While West Indies have won 12 series, India have won 10 in their 75-year old Test cricket history against this opposition. Speaking of the 12 series played in the Caribbean, West Indies have maintained a 7-5 lead in all these years. That said, they have lost eight series in a row in the last 21 years.
