IPL all team squad 2023: Mini auction IPL 2023 players list

80 out of the 87 vacant Indian Premier League 2023 slots were filled during a one-day mini-auction for the forthcoming 16th season of the biggest T20 league in the world in Kochi today. As a result, a grand total of 243 cricketers (including 79 overseas players) will be participating in IPL 2023.

Punjab Kings, who had the second-highest amount of money in their purse before the auction, finished the day with as many as INR 12.2 crore still remaining in their purse. Only franchise to have not bought a maximum of eight overseas players, Punjab are joined by Kolkata Knight Riders to be the only two teams with a lowest number of 22 cricketers in their IPL 2023 squads.

Mumbai Indians, who successfully executed one of the most expensive deals in the auction on Friday, are among the three teams who haven’t exhausted their 25-player quota.

With all the 10 franchises collectively spending an opulent amount of INR 167 crore to buy 80 players in the auction, INR 39.5 crore could have still been spent but owners opted to call it a day after perhaps being extremely satisfied with their respective squads.
