IPL auction 2023 purse: Purse balance of IPL teams 2023 mini auction
The IPL 2023 mini-auction is here, and the franchises are ready with their strategic minds to make a deadly squad for the next season of the IPL. Ahead of the auction, the franchises released and traded some of their players to keep their budgets in check. The franchises will get an additional budget of INR 5 crores this season.
Kolkata Knight Riders traded in Shardul Thakur, Lockie Ferguson and Rahmanullah Gurbaz ahead of the auction. They have the minimum purse available with 11 spots left in the side, it will be interesting to see how they will manage to find adequate buys in the auction.
Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to find their rhythm last season, and they have released some of their big names. They have a lot of money left in their purse, and they will be looking to add some star names to their team this time around. Even Punjab Kings have a good amount of sum left in their purse.

The overseas players are again expected to fetch some big amount in the auction as the majority of the main Indian players have been retained by their respective franchises. Mayank Agarwal is in the auction, and the teams may go after him to make him the most expensive Indian in the auction this year.
The teams like Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians, and Chennai Super Kings also have a job to do on the auction table on Friday. It can be a long but exciting day for fans around the world as the auction is one of the most entertaining parts of the tournament.
