KKR vs GT Head to Head Record in IPL History

Rinku Singh is the first name which comes to mind upon coming across the prospect of a Kolkata Knight Riders vs Gujarat Titans Indian Premier League match. Slated to be played at the Eden Gardens tomorrow, this contest will also be played on an afternoon much like their last encounter at the Narendra Modi Stadium earlier this month.

Only the second match between these two teams, that match is unequivocally one of the most memorable matches in the history of the cash-rich league. Although it would be extremely hard for Rinku to replicate his heroics, even a partial replica of that match would be enough for fans to relish another nail-biting fixture between KKR and GT.

Even though the visitors will be participating in their first-ever match against the hosts at this venue, they had played IPL 2022 Qualifier 1 here. While the sample size is too small to draw any conclusions, Titans had sealed a 189-run chase with 7 wickets and three balls remaining in the match.

Knight Riders, on the other hand, have won 46 and lost 31 out of their 77 matches at their home ground. Been playing here since 2008, Kolkata have an average run rate of 8.38 at this iconic stadium.

The optimist in him is waiting for the day when Punjab Kings will win their maiden Indian Premier League title.
