During the second ODI of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia in Sydney, Australia captain Aaron Finch was hit on the stomach after he missed a high full-toss from India pacer Navdeep Saini.
In what was declared a no-ball, Finch was seen in some pain after receiving the blow. However, the 34-year old player resumed batting after a brief pause.
Whilst Finch was getting his act together, India vice-captain Lokesh Rahul was seen joking around with him by poking at just where the ball hit him. The two players were then seen enjoying a laugh.

Despite the fierce nature of the Australian-Indian rivalry, players from both the sides have started to enjoy cordial friendships with each other especially after playing in the Indian Premier League.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Finch and opening batsman David Warner have once again put together a 100-run opening stand. While Finch started the innings in his usual cautious manner, Warner attacked the Indian bowlers from the word go to race to his 23rd ODI half-century.
India, who haven’t made a change to their Playing XI, are witnessing the same bowlers leaking runs for the second time in a row. Australia, on the other hand, have included Moises Henriques in their Playing XI for injured all-rounder Marcus Stoinis.
Coming on the back of a 66-run victory in the first match, Finch and his men would now be looking to register another victory to secure a 2-0 unassailable lead in the three-match series.
