KL Rahul total runs in IPL 2022: Lucknow Super Giants’ captain scored his second century of IPL 2022 against Mumbai Indians.

KL Rahul has been one of the most consistent players of the IPL, and he has proved his class yet again with the bat. In the game between Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium, KL Rahul scored yet another half-century to lift his side.

Lucknow Super Giants opted to bat first against Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow posted a total of 195 runs. Out of 195 runs, 77 runs were made by captain KL Rahul. Rahul started quite carefully, but he stitched a brilliant partnership with Deepak Hooda. KL managed to score 77 runs in just 51 balls, courtesy of five sixes and four boundaries.

KL Rahul has scored two centuries and two half-centuries this season, and he has been the best batter of the side this season by a mile.

KL Rahul is enjoying yet another successful IPL season with the bat. He has scored 537 runs at an average of 48.81, whereas his strike-rate has been 135.26. He has managed to score two centuries and three half-centuries this season. Rahul is just behind Jos Buttler (627) in the race of Orange cap.

In terms of numbers, IPL 2020 was the best one for KL Rahul. Rahul scored 670 runs at an average of 55.83, courtesy of one century and five half-centuries. He also won the orange cap that season.

KL Rahul has four IPL centuries under his belt, and two of them have been scored this season against Mumbai Indians. Rahul scored his first IPL century against Mumbai Indians in 2019, whereas his 2nd century came in 2020 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. So out of four centuries, three of them have came against Mumbai Indians.
