Major League Cricket Teams 2023 Squad And Player List

The first season of the Major Cricket League is all set to begin tomorrow onwards. Some of the biggest T20 stars in the world will make their presence felt in yet another T20 league. The name of three franchises have a recall value for the Indian fans because of their association with Indian Premier League franchises.

Former South Africa captain Faf du Plessis is back in yellow and he will be captaining the Texas Super Kings. All-rounder Dwayne Bravo might have retired from IPL but he will be seen playing for Super Kings in this competition. India batter Ambati Rayudu, du Plessis and Bravo’s former teammate at Chennai Super Kings, would’ve also played for Texas had it not been for a last-minute withdrawal.

Any Knight Riders franchise is incomplete without the all-rounder duo of Sunil Narine and Andre Russell. Both of them are part of Los Angeles Knight Riders with the former being appointed as the skipper of the side. English batter Jason Roy will also be playing for the franchise after representing Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2023.

Mumbai Indians have also expanded their reach by investing in MI New York. Many of the players who represented them in ILT20 2023 have been resigned. As a result, MI batting coach Kieron Pollard will be leading the side and will have some top names such as Trent Boult, Rashid Khan and Nicholas Pooran.

The other teams, i.e., San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas and Washington Freedom are led by Aaron Finch, Wayne Parnell and Moises Henriques respectively.
