Most IPL centuries in one season

Sunrisers Hyderabad‘s wicket-keeper batter Heinrich Klassen became the seventh batter to smash a century in the ongoing 16th season of the Indian Premier League. The middle-order batter from South Africa reached the landmark moment in mere 49 deliveries. Coincidentally, all these seven batters have breached the three-figure mark for the first time in their respective IPL careers.

IPL 2023 has already witnessed maximum number of 200+ totals among all the 16 seasons of the coveted league, with the run-rates at which teams have scored this year being the highest when compared to all the preceding seasons.

With almost all the batting records being shattered, the ongoing edition might well break another record as well – for the most number of IPL centuries in one season.
