Sabina Park Kingston Jamaica weather forecast: What is the weather prediction for West Indies vs Pakistan Test Day 1?

Kingston Jamaica weather: The SportsRush presents for you the detailed weather prediction for the WI vs PAK Test Day 1.

The first Test match of the ongoing Pakistan’s tour of West Indies will commence at Sabina Park, Kingston, in less than an hour from now. Given how the recently concluded four-match T20I series was dominated by rain, the last thing any stakeholder would be hoping for is inclement weather conditions.

The two-match Test series will also culminate this international season in West Indies as it will be followed by the ninth season of the Caribbean Premier League.

Playing their first series each of the second edition of ICC World Test Championship, both West Indies and Pakistan would be keen to start on a winning note. Considering their head-to-head record over the years, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that this series should put on display a close contest in Jamaica.

Sabina Park Kingston Jamaica weather forecast for 1st Test Day 1

In a development which won’t be appreciated by both players and fans, there are chances of rain following Pakistan’s tour of West Indies from Guyana to Jamaica.

According to AccuWeather, the first Test of this series is expected to be a hot and humid day with a decent amount of cloud cover in Kingston. Despite the presence of occasional clouds in the first session, rain probability is as low as <20% in the first two hours.

Having said that, the presence of storms in the second session will take the rain probability to 51% in the afternoon session which is likely to be affected by rain if the weather forecast holds true.

As far as the third session is concerned, rain probability will again fall down to in vicinity of 30% in the evening session. If the weather remains supportive in the last two hours of the day, lost overs (if any) might well be compensated over here.
