Rajasthan Royals’ pacer Sandeep Sharma comes from a very humble family in Punjab. Sharma got married to his long-time girlfriend Tasha Sathwick in 2021. Both of them started dating in 2015 and tied the knot after more than six years of relationship.

Sharma was born and brought up in Patiala. Balwinder Sharma is Sandeep’s father and he is an agriculturist by profession. His mother, Naina Wati, is a homemaker. Sandeep has three brothers, i.e,. Ranjeet Sharma, Jagdeep Sharma and Shatrughan Sharma.

Sharma started his cricketing career from his school days and he used to be a batter. His coach Kamaljeet Singh advised him to switch to pace bowling. Sharma listened to his coach and became a swing bowler. He was later spotted by then Indian Women’s Cricket Team’s fielding coach Munish Bali. Bali then trained him afterward.

Sharma and Sathwick got engaged in 2018 and married in a private ceremony under South Indian traditions three years later. Sathwick belongs to Bengaluru in Karnataka and they shared their wedding pictures online as well. Sharma was seen wearing a traditional white attire, whereas Sathwick was in a pretty Orange Saree.

Sathwick is one of the country’s most popular jewellery designers. She is also a blogger and is into fitness just like her husband. Sathwick studied at Bishop Cotton Girls’ School and completed her Bachelor of Design in Jewellery Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi.

Talking about her work experience, she is currently working with Skill9 Universal Academy as Managing Director and Creative Head. She has earlier worked with companies like Tanishq Jewels, Davanam Jewellers, HomeShop 18, 99 Jewelz.com, etc.

There is no information on how both of them met but they have certainly come a very long way together. He was part of Sunrisers Hyderabad when he got married and the franchise also wished the pacer well on his big occasion.

Sharma and Sathwick welcomed their first child in June 2022. They named the baby girl Sohani. Both them have shared quite a few pictures of her on their social media handles.

“Our little one has arrived to add giggles to our lives – 20-06-2022,” Sandeep had captioned his Instagram post.

The pacer is currently representing the Royals in Indian Premier League 2023, he joined the team as replacement for pacer Prasidh Krishna. Sharma went unsold in the auction initially.
