SL vs AFG Live Streaming in India and Afghanistan: When and where to watch Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan Hambantota ODIs?

In what is going to be the second three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in the last six months, the first of three imminent matches will be played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium tomorrow.

While the ODI head-to-head records between these two teams are stacked in Sri Lanka’s favour, they don’t guarantee them the position of favourites primarily because of how both them and Afghanistan have played in the recent years. The hosts, however, should be a confident set in the presence of senior players making a comeback to this format.

As far as bilateral series are concerned, neither of Sri Lanka or Afghanistan have won an ODI series against each other because the last one had ended in a 1-1 draw after the second ODI had to be abandoned due to rain.

SL vs AFG Live Streaming in India and Afghanistan

Unlike Ireland’s tour of Sri Lanka less than a couple of months ago, Afghanistan’s tour of Sri Lanka 2023 won’t be available for television viewing for the Indian audiences. Hence, Indian fans will have to take refuge in streaming platforms to watch these three ODIs. Frankly speaking, it is a bit surprising that Sony Sports Network isn’t televising this match on any of its channels.

Much like the ongoing Ireland’s tour of England, both Sony LIV and FanCode will be live streaming Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan ODIs in India. It is to be noted that both the popular streaming applications will be charging a subscription fee and that this series won’t be available for free in the country.

The ever-reliable RTA Sport will be televising Hambantota ODIs for Afghan fans back home. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will be able to watch this series on various channels namely Supreme TV, Dialog & IPTV – SLT.

Date – 02/06/2023 (Friday).

Match start Time – 09:00 AM (Afghanistan) and 10:00 AM (India & Sri Lanka).

TV Channel – RTA Sport (Afghanistan) and Supreme TV, Dialog & IPTV – SLT (Sri Lanka).

Online platform – Sony LIV (Indian subcontinent, Middle East & UK).
