England vs Ireland Test Live Telecast Channel in India and UK: When and Where to Watch ENG vs IRE Lord's Test?

In the form of a Test match, the first international match of the ongoing English summer will be played between England and Ireland at Lord’s from tomorrow. A one-off contest will lay all the necessary groundwork for premium Test matches such as ICC World Test Championship Final and an Ashes series to be played in the country later in the same month.

In what is going to be the 10th bilateral series across formats between these two teams, it will be the first one since a three-match ODI series played three years ago. Slated to be the eighth England-Ireland bilateral series consisting of a solitary match, it will be only their second Test against each other.

Ireland, however, will return to England for another three-match ODI series to culminate the international English summer in September.

It was during the last leg of the English summer last year that Sony Pictures Network India had extended their partnership with ECB (England Cricket Board) for another six years. Under the same, Sony will have exclusive access to both the television and digital rights of both international and domestic cricket for the Indian audiences.

Hence, Ireland’s tour of England 2023 will be televised by Sony Sports Network in India. Readers must note that Sony Sports 1 is televising this match for Indian fans.

In the general run of things, Sony LIV would’ve live streamed the Lord’s Test. While it is doing the same, it is to be noted that streaming platform FanCode is also live streaming England-Ireland Test with a pass costing INR 19 per subscription (no website discount available).

For the unversed, FanCode is also streaming Vitality T20 Blast 2023 in spite of it being televised by Sony Sports Network. Similarly, it had streamed Netherlands’ tour of South Africa and West Indies’ tour of South Africa in place of Disney+Hotstar when both the series were being televised by Star Sports First earlier this year.

Fans in the UK and Ireland, meanwhile, will continue to watch international cricket being played in England on tried and tested Sky Sports.

Date – 01/06/2023 (Thursday) – 04/06/2023 (Monday).

Match start Time – 11:00 AM (UK) and 03:30 PM (India).

TV Channel – Sony Sports Network (India) and Sky Sports (UK & Ireland).

Online platform – Sony LIV & FanCode (India) and Sky Sports App (UK & Ireland).

What followed for an 8-year-old was an instant adulation for both Ganguly and the sport. The optimist in him is waiting for the day when Punjab Kings will win their maiden Indian Premier League title. When not watching cricket, he is mostly found in a cinema hall watching a Punjabi movie.
