Southampton weather Sunday hourly: What is the weather prediction for June 20 India vs New Zealand WTC Final 2021 Day 3?

Southampton weather Sunday: The SportsRush presents for you the detailed weather prediction for IND vs NZ WTC Final Day 3.

During the second day of the ongoing final match of the ICC World Test Championship between India and New Zealand in Southampton, bad light stopped play not once but thrice to become a hindrance in front of an otherwise interesting day of Test cricket.

After New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and chose to field, India opening batsmen Rohit Sharma (34) and Shubman Gill (28) put together a composed 62-run opening partnership.

As India started to lose wickets at the Ageas Bowl, captain Virat Kohli (44 not out) and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane (29 not out) joined hands to share an unbeaten 58-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Having scored 146/3 in 64.4 overs, India will resume from here only on the third day as play has been called-off on Day 2.

If the weather forecast on AccuWeather is to be believed, the third day of the Test match is highly likely to be a replica of the second day as an overall cloudy day has a couple of rain breaks as per the forecast.

While the first session is likely to be cloudy, it is around the lunch time that the rain will make its presence felt at the Ageas Bowl. Much like today, there is another passage of rain scheduled to pour down in the third session around 04:00 PM (local time).
