It would be safe to say that fixtures of Pakistan’s tour of Sri Lanka in 2022 and 2023 have been cut from the same cloth. A couple of two-match Test series with matches beginning on July 16 and 24 can’t be happening by chance otherwise. However, a major change lies in the venue for the second Test this time. While Galle had hosted both the Tests last year, Colombo will be hosting the second Test later this month.

All in all, this will be the 22nd bilateral Test series (11th in Sri Lanka) between these two teams. Out of the previous 21 Test series, Sri Lanka have won six (four in Sri Lanka) as compared to nine (three in Sri Lanka) Pakistani series victories. As far as the last series is concerned, it had ended in a 1-1 draw.
Sri Lanka vs Pakistan Live Telecast In India
As was the case the last time around, Sony Sports Network is the live telecast partner for Pakistan’s tour of Sri Lanka 2023. That said, there’s a slight change with respect to the exact television channel which will broadcast this match.
While Indian fans are used to watching most of the live cricketing action on Sony Sports 5, Sri Lanka-Pakistan Tests will be televised on Sony Sports 2. It is noteworthy that the match will only be available in English commentary in India.
