The first ODI of the ongoing Sri Lanka’s tour of West Indies will be played tomorrow at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua.

The last time that these two teams locked horns against each other in an ODI was during West Indies’ tour of Sri Lanka last year. In what was also a three-match series, Sri Lanka had whitewashed West Indies 3-0.

It is worth mentioning that this will be Sri Lanka’s first bilateral ODI series in West Indies since 2008. The last they had played a bilateral ODI series in West Indies was under Mahela Jayawardene’s captaincy.

Overall, Sri Lanka have won 29 ODIs against West Indies as compared to West Indies’ 28 victories in a total of 60 ODIs against each other.
