Who won the toss today IPL 2020: Are Ambati Rayudu and DJ Bravo playing today's match vs SRH?

Ambati Rayudu and DJ Bravo: Both the injured players have recovered and returned for Chennai Super Kings in Dubai.

During the 14th match of the ongoing 13th season of the Indian Premier League between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner has won the toss and chose to bat.

“We are gonna have a bat. Looks a nice wicket and we want to put runs on the board. We are a good side at defending and if all goes to plan, hopefully we can defend it,” Warner said during the toss.

Coming on the back of their maiden victory against Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers have decided to take the field with their winning combination.

Playing an IPL 2020 match after a week, Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also expressed the urge to bat first. Having lost two out of their three matches so far, CSK have made as many as three changes to their Playing XI.

“Hopefully the wicket won’t slow down much. We got a break at a very important juncture and it will also help us reflect what we need to change in batting and bowling. Momentum when it comes to batting is one of the key aspects. The length has been crucial and experience really plays in,” Dhoni said during the toss.

As far as the changes are concerned, Super Kings have benched the batsmen duo of Murali Vijay and Ruturaj Gaikwad and an overseas pacer in Josh Hazlewood.

As informed by CSK head coach Stephen Fleming yesterday, batsman Ambati Rayudu and all-rounder Dwayne Bravo have made their way into the Playing XI. To bolster their bowling division, Chennai have also given a spot to pacer Shardul Thakur for the first time in IPL 2020.

In 23 T20s for Chennai, Thakur has picked 24 wickets at an average of 29.67, an economy rate of 9.29 and a strike rate of 19.17. What will be interesting to see is who opens the batting for Super Kings alongside Shane Watson.
