Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix share a sweet moment before Juventus vs Atletico Madrid match in the Champions League last night.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the biggest star to have come out of Portugal. Atletico Madrid’s shining star was at his best when Juventus and Atletico Madrid met in the pre-season friendly earlier in the summer. He scored 2 goals to thoroughly outshine the veteran and won the game all on his own.

Many saw it as the passing of the torch between the master and his apprentice. However, there is a world of difference between friendlies and competitive matches, as Felix found out last night when Atletico had to crawl their way to a draw.

While neither of the two scored or assisted, Cristiano almost scored the winner after destroying 5 players in the process! Felix did not have the same impact and as classy as he is, the youngster will still need some time to reach his potential.

Right before the match, Ronaldo walked up to the teenager and put his hand on his neck while saying a few words to him.
