Cristiano Ronaldo maintains his scoring spree with sensational goal against Roma

Cristiano Ronaldo scores a sensational goal against Roma to maintain his scoring spree, the Portuguese International has picked sudden form.

A few weeks ago many committed a mistake of ruling out Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the top-performing players in Europe this season but the Portuguese International once again proved his critics wrong.

Ronaldo has not stopped scoring in last 9 games and have obtained 12 goals in the process. Indeed, he has picked a huge form amidst all the criticism he was receiving before he regained his goal-scoring touch.

In the game against Roma, Ronaldo once again maintained his goal-scoring spree opened the scoring as the Old Lady faced Roma in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia, with a brilliant left-foot finish after just 26 minutes.

His current run extends before the start of the new decade though with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner scoring 11 times in his past seven games, scoring in all seven consecutive games.

Gonzalo Higuain had the ball before he found Ronaldo on the left side of the attack. Even though he could have chosen to shot the ball, he decided to pass it the ball to Ronaldo.

The Portuguese International then tried to beat the right-back of Roma but the latter failed to prevent Ronaldo to outpace him. Ronaldo then progressed ominously into the box before slamming a low effort across Lopez and the ball travels the bottom corner.
