Aaron Ramsey to Real Madrid

Aaron Ramsey to Real Madrid: The Spanish giants have reportedly contacted Ramsey for a move next year.

Aaron Ramsey was the hero for Arsenal in the North London derby last night, as the Welshman assisted two goals after coming on at halftime. The Welsh midfielder was key to Arsenal’s victory against Tottenham, as the side moves into top-4 of the table.

However, the Welshman has been in headlines over a move away from Arsenal and has been linked with various clubs over the past few months. The talks for a new contract between Ramsey and the club broke down in September, and Ramsey confirmed later that he would leave the club in January.

While Bayern Munich were reportedly thought to be favourites to acquire the services of the star midfielder, Sunday People’s Steve Bates has claimed that Real Madrid has contacted the Welshman.

Here’s the full report:

Aaron Ramsey to Real Madrid:

Real Madrid have reportedly made a contact with Aaron Ramsey over a potential transfer next year. The Spanish giants have had a struggling season so far, as the club is currently 5th in the table and five points behind league leaders Barcelona.

After the departure of star duo of Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid endured their worst goalless run in the club’s history, and parted ways with Julen Lopetegui after a crushing 5-1 defeat in the El Clasico.

Aaron Ramsey, meanwhile, is free to contact clubs from January, as he enters his final six months of the contract. The Welshman has also been linked with top European clubs like Bayern Munich and Juventus.

After the North London derby where Aaron Ramsey came on in the second half and made two assists, Unai Emery praised the Welshman and insisted that he wants to continue the ‘process’ with him, when asked about Ramsey’s contract.

“Aaron has chances to help us, either by starting the match or when the match is in the second half to play minutes,” Emery said about Ramsey.

“Above all today can be his day. Because it’s against Tottenham and he has experience of matches like today. We are continuing with him in our process, helping him to be with us with his performances, with his qualities and his experience here.”
