Cristiano Ronaldo removes silver medal instantly after taking it in Italian super cup post final ceremony

Cristiano Ronaldo removes silver medal instantly after taking it off in the post-match ceremony, Juventus lost the Italian super cup against Lazio.

Juventus lost Italian super cup match against Lazio which was held in Riyadh. After an entertaining encounter between both sides, Simeone Inzaghi’s side came out on top with 3-1 scoreline.

In the post-match ceremony where Lazio was set to be given the trophy, Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted removing his medal even before he stepped down from the ramp. This happened while his side was collecting their runner ups’ medals.

The first success in the game was found by Luis Alberto’s goal but Paulo Dybala levelled for Juventus with an easy finish at the end of the first half.

Lazio regained the lead with 17 minutes to go thanks to Senad Lulic’s volley and any hope Juventus had of getting back into the match ended in injury time.

Rodrigo Bentacur was sent off in stoppage time and Danilo Cataldi curled home the resulting free-kick to seal a 3-1 win for Lazio. Maurizio Sarri has only lost two games as Juventus manager but they have both been against Lazio – and they have both been by a 3-1 scoreline.

The Old Lady were beaten by Lazio in their Serie A clash two weeks ago and couldn’t get revenge in Saudi Arabia. Probably the behaviour by Ronaldo seems disrespectful but obe cannot recall when did he last lost a finale.

Juventus is having a tough season in Italy, as their rivals, Inter Milan is leading the Serie A, jeopardizing their winning streak of Serie A trophies. With this defeat, Juventus is only left with their Champions League campaign and are expected to reach into the next round.
