The legendary goal scorer was once again in the headlines last night as he scored a brilliant free-kick in the Club World Cup final in Abu Dhabi.
His moment of brilliance was the difference between the two sides as Ronaldo continued his incredible record of scoring in finals for Real Madrid.
Now Real Madrid’s attention will turn to the upcoming El Classico which is more crucial for Real than it is for their arch rivals.

Los Blancos are currently fourth in the league standings and trail the Catalan side by eight point as they look to claw back some ground against Barcelona.
Real know that they will need to beat Barcelona this week if they need to harbour any hopes of defending their league title this season.
Speaking ahead of the Classico, Ronaldo revealed his admiration for Messi and also spoke about his memorable Euro triumph with Portugal.
“I have managed to write a new chapter in the history of football. Winning so many titles both and also being one of the players alongside Lionel Messi to win the most individual awards in the game is a big honour for me.”
“It is an incredible moment in my career. This motivates me to carry on playing football at the highest level.”
“I stay motivated because I like what I do, I love playing football and I try to enjoy it. I always try to entertain people. I will carry on for as long as I have the passion to play,” the star forward said.
“Winning the Euro was the special, it’s something we wanted for years, the first title of the Portuguese national team, and it was incredible,” he said.
“Thanks to God we did it.”
“Russia, personally, has been lucky for me because I won the Champions League in Moscow. The national team did not do that well in the Confederations Cup.”
