Cristiano Ronaldo has brought a surreal impact on Juventus and Italian football.

Juventus decided to fork out 100 million euros on former Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo who left the Los Blancos after a rift with the club president Florentino Perez.

The Portuguese International has made a surreal impact on the pitch by scoring 19 goals in the Serie A alone. The Turin club are first in the league table and are leading the second-placed Napoli by Thirteen points, just 21 games into the season. With the remaining 17 games in the season, they are expected to cross the 100 point mark this time.

Back in 2003/04, the Old Lady shattered 102 points throughout the season which is the highest point tally in a single campaign. However, that record could be in danger as the current side are looking just 36 points away with nearly half a season left.

Not only in the on-field department they have become stronger, but in the off-field department, their marketing has rocketed sky high since the Portuguese International has joined in the summer window.

The Spanish publication MARCA have produced a report on Ronaldo’s effect and the instinctive rise in the marketing for Juventus and the Italian top division.

There were several reports that the Old Lady sold 520,000 within 24 hours since Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Turin became official in July. Besides, Juventus’ social media has had a thirty per cent increase during this period.

The club’s Instagram has gained 10 million followers, while Youtube had a whopping 136% boost in the last six months. Their Twitter account got increased by 10.63%, but it was on Facebook where Juventus’ business picked up as three million new people liked their page to count to just short of 37 million.

Apart from this, Juventus’ attendance has increased by 4.5 per cent, while Serie A’s overall attendance got effected by 2.30 per cent. It’s simply extraordinary to think about these numbers and the Old Lady would have already generated more than 100 million since his arrival at the club.

When Cristiano Ronaldo is there, the brand of the club increases as a whole. Apart from these increase in social media, their club stock has risen up in the last six months.

Juventus were valued at 690 million on July 3, 2018. The turn of the New Year sees Italian outfit being valued at 1.57 billion, thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo. It really shows how much impact the Old Lady forward could have on the club.

With him at the club, the Italian outfit are considered as one of the favourites to lift the Champions League. If he wins Europe’s most prestigious competition in Turin, there is every chance of seeing these numbers getting doubled in the near future.
