It is the Father’s day and social media is abuzz with posts. Following the trend, several cricketers also took to the social media to express their happiness and state how much they owe to their father.

The official Twitter handle of the Chennai Super Kings too posted a picture of MS Dhoni with daughter Ziva Dhoni on the occasion. This is a very special post as Ziva was born 3 years ago when MS Dhoni was playing in Australia. There he was asked by the reporters that why he did not stick around with his family when his wife needed him the most. To this the veteran Indian keeper replied that he is currently on national duty and everything else can wait.

Since CSK have made a comeback to the IPL, they have been very unabashed about family ties. Many of the CSK players were also seen posing with their babies when the team finally defeated SRH to bag the IPL title.

Fans keep waiting for ‘Dhonis’ to post something related to their daughter. Ziva was visible in Dhoni’s arms quite frequently in the IPL. She even accompanied her father during practice sessions and was it treat for the fans.
This is another symbol of the fact that the CSK franchise is like a family. Possibly, this is the reason why the team has been so consistent and has made the playoffs every single time.
