CSK Predicted Playing 11 today: Chenaai Super Kings Best Playing 11 vs MI | IPL 2019 News
CSK Predicted Playing 11 today: The Sportsrush presents before you CSK Best Playing 11 for their 11th match of IPL 2019 vs MI.
Chennai Super Kings are back to winning matches after 2 losses on the trot. Unless an unlikely situation wherein 5 teams end up on 16 points happens, CSK have all but qualified for the playoffs yet again and have managed to maintain their streak. They should now look to consolidate their No. 1 spot and ensure that they finish at least in the top 2 and get 2 shots at making the finals. They might also look to rest some key players including Dhoni himself.

CSK TOP ORDER
Shane Watson has been backed by CSK throughout this tournament in spite of average performances. Watson repaid the faith showed by Dhoni and Fleming and scored a match-winning 96 against SRH to secure a victory. Watson’s coming to form along with Faf du Plessis’ consistency should be sufficient to boost CSK’s confidence in their openers.
Suresh Raina has not had a very good season so far by his own standards. He has not been in the best of forms but he needs to use these few games before the playoffs to get back in touch and start contributing again.
CSK MIDDLE ORDER
Kedar Jadhav has not taken the IPL by storm but he has played some good cameos here and there. One good knock can do him a world of good. Rayudu, after the World Cup snub, would be low on confidence but he needs to perform with the bat for CSK in a much more significant manner considering he’s one of the seniors in the squad.
With MS Dhoni likely to rest in a bid to keep his back fine before the playoffs and the all-important World Cup, local boy N. Jagadeesan would get a chance to play for CSK at his home ground and make an impact. The absence of Billings, who has flown back to England, makes Jagadeesan the only other wicketkeeper in the CSK squad. Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja should complete the middle order with some smashing blows during the final few overs.
CSK BOWLERS
CSK will once again look to go in with a spin heavy attack consisting of the likes of Imran Tahir who has been phenomenal along with Harbhajan Singh who is simple rolling back the years and showing what a legend he is. Ravindra Jadeja would also look to spin the ball and trouble a few batsmen. Deepak Chahar is expected to take the power play bowling duties against his younger brother’s team while Bravo would want to make a significant impact as usual in the death overs.
PREDICTED PLAYING 11: 1) Shane Watson 2) Faf du Plessis 3) Suresh Raina (C) 4) Kedar Jadhav 5) Ambati Rayudu 6) N Jagadeesan (WK) 7) Dwayne Bravo 8) Ravindra Jadeja 9) Deepak Chahar 10) Harbhajan Singh 11) Imran Tahir
