Cyberpunk 2077 Bugs: Game faces social media backlash as fixes are announced

Cyberpunk 2077 is turning out to be one of the biggest releases of the year. However the release is not free from bugs and fans have taken to social media to complain.

The Cyberpunk 2077 bugs were first reported by reviewers who were given an early access to the game. Many reported bugs which included NPC’s getting stuck in roof’s of vehicles and dialogues were not in sync with captions. Another one included the customized hair of players not being visible in cut scenes. Gameplay bugs were not reported as such and many claimed that the game was very smooth while playing.

Cyberpunk 2077 bugs on PS4 and Xbox One –

Many users complained that the game takes really long to load the texture packs. This results in blurry screens and also frame rate drops. NPC and animation bugs were highly prevalent in the game. There were also reports of the game crashing entirely on PS4. While others reported they were not able to download the game.

Users take to Twitter and Twitch to complain –

As the expectations with the game were very high, its no surprise that users are very disappointed with the bugs. Users urged CD Projekt Red to release a fix. While others simply labelled the game as unplayable. With the backlash CD Projekt Red announced a Hotfix 1.04 explaining the changes they would bring to the game. This included fixes to Quests, consoles and PC. However will the fix work and solve all issues entirely remains in question.

Cyberpunk 2077 bug fix announced –

Yesterday on their website the game devs announced fixes to quests, consoles and PC. It is labelled as Hotfix 1.04. It also includes fix for the crashing of the game. While in a  tweet they also said a big update would be released soon about the bugs in the game. Hopefully all the issues are solved quickly and players can have a smooth experience in the game.
