David Silva goal Vs Crystal Palace: Raheem Sterling's splendid pass makes Silva score against Eagles

David Silva goal Vs Crystal Palace: Raheem Sterling’s beautiful pass to Silva helps Manchester City to gain 2-0 lead over the Eagles.

Manchester City faced Crystal Palace in the 9th game-week of the Premier League as the club football returned after the international break this month.

Before the start of this game-week, the Citizens were lying 8 points behind Liverpool in the points table, but it seems that Manchester City is back in the game after they nail 2 goals past Crystal Palace.

The second game in the goal was mesmerizing as Raheem Sterling and David Silva combined well to make it 2-0 before the half time. It was a bit of mix up between Benjamin Mendy and Sterling on the left-wing.

Later, Mendy let his teammate make another move inside the box and Sterling in return chipped the pass over Joel Ward to find Silva inside the box.

As soon as the ball reached to Silva, he did not even finch for a moment and slammed a volley inside the goal to seal the game even before the clock hit 45.  It was absolutely an inch-perfect pass by Sterling, which allowed the Spaniard to be in the score-sheet.

This goal came in succession to the first goal scored by Gabriel Jesus which was scored in the 39th minute. Hence, in the span of two minutes, the game went out from the hands of the Eagles.

So far, Manchester City has managed to not concede a single goal, even though they started without a natural centre-back. With Manchester City chasing Liverpool in the table, it felt Pep Guardiola will start his full-strength lineup but he kept Sergio Aguero on the bench.

Although, if Manchester City manages to maintain this scoreline they will be just 5 points away from the Reds, but the latter still has a game in hand.
