David Warner set to make comeback to competitive cricket

David Warner has been banned from international cricket for 12 months after his participation in the infamous ball tampering incident that took place during the 3rd Test between South Africa and Australia.

Cricket Australia wanted to send out a message with their punishments and thus have reprimanded two of their best players with such harsh sanctions.

Subsequently, David Warner and Steve Smith were barred from taking part in the IPL, and thus the duo had to give up on their multi-million dollar contracts.

Warner has been pretty active on social media with regards to his support for SRH  and also expressed his interest of visiting India and supporting the Hyderabad franchise.

However, a twitter user, named Srujana Konakanchi‏ has revealed her chat with Warner’s wife Candice , wherein David has been denied by BCCI to visit Indian and support the Sunrisers,

“He was wanting to come over but unfortunately the BCCI have stopped him from coming over to watch. He will be back next year. Even he is disappointed as he wanted his team to support the team he loves,” the tweet read.

No official announcement of such sort has been made by the BCCI or the IPL authorities, but what we can gather from Candice’s reply to this twitter user is that Warner has actually been barred from visiting Indian by the BCCI.

Can the BCCI do that? I am not so sure.
